Home-made Guacamole

Not-from-a-box, Homemade Guacamole. It’s amazing how much of a difference something tastes when you make it homemade, that’s why when the words “homemade” hit the ol’ ear drum the eyes widen. I’ve never made my own guacamole but this stuff is amazing. If you’re interested in a light snack that is simple and quick to make, grab some tortillas and these ingredients, it takes no more than 10 minutes.

4 avocados
3 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
1/2 cup red onion, diced
1 small tomato. seeded and sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp salt
dash pepper

If you halve the avocados and pull them apart then its easy to scoop out the goods with a spoon. Lightly mash the avocados but don’t murder the poor things, you still want it to be a bit chunky. Add all the the rest of the ingredients and stir together, make sure to add the lemon juice right away to keep the avocados from turning brown.  ENJOY :)
